Thailand - Draft Ministerial Regulation on Vehicles with Regard to the Protection of the Occupants in the Event of a Lateral Collision

​This draft Ministerial Regulation mandates the following vehicles to conform with the Thai Industrial Standard for Vehicles with regard to the Protection of the Occupants in the Event of a Lateral Collision (TIS 2399-256X(202X)).

​1. Vehicles of category M1 with a maximum permission mass not exceeding 3,500 kg
2. Vehicles of category M1 with a maximum permission mass exceeding 3,500 kg where the "R" point of the lowest seat is not more than 700 mm from ground level when the vehicle is in the condition corresponding to the reference mass
3. Vehicles of category N1​
