Saudi Arabia - Technical Regulation of EMC Coming Into Force in May 2024

​Saudi Arabia published its Technical Regulation of EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility) on official gazette in November 2023. Implementation date will be May 17, 2024.

This regulation will cover EMC requirements of all electrical products except below:
- Radio Equipment and Telecommunication Terminal Equipment
- Aerial navigation devices & their spare parts
- Telecommunication devices used by amateurs
- Electronic boards used by experts for research & development purposes
- Medical equipment
- Equipment that their radiated electromagnetic field are too low to cause interference with other EM fields
