Israel - SI 1107 - Child Restraint Devices for Motor Vehicles

Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 1107, dealing with child restraint devices for motor vehicles. This proposed standard revision adopts both E/ECE/324 - Addendum 128 to the UN Regulation No.129 and the American FMVSS - Standard No. 213 (published in 49 CFR, Chapter V, § 571.213), with a few changes that appear in the standard's Hebrew section.

The major differences between the old version and this new revised draft standard are as follows:
- Adopts a different UN Regulation, including all its updates;
- Amends the normative references;
- Deletes some of the marking requirements.

All sections of the newly revised standard will be declared mandatory after this proposed revision's entry into force.

Both the old standard and this new revised standard will apply from entry into force of this revision for a period of 12 months. During this time, products may be tested according to the old or the new revised standard.
