On-Demand Webinar:

Ask a DETOXpert: Fast Track Your Input Chemical Compliance with ZDHC MRSL 2.0

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Program’s Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) is a list of chemical substances that should be banned from intentional use by the industry in the production of textile, apparel, leather and footwear. Chemicals in the ZDHC MRSL include solvents, cleaners, adhesives, paints, inks, detergents, dyes, colorants, auxiliaries, coatings and finishing agents. These substances are used in various manufacturing processes, such as raw material production, wet-processing, maintenance, wastewater treatment, sanitation and pest control.

Due to strict regulations, health concerns, and environmentally conscious customers, chemical manufacturers are under increasingly amounts of pressure to meet the conformance criteria of the ZDHC MRSL. However, implementing MRSL requirements can be challenging and often forces change in the way facilities that process textile and leather look at chemical management.

In this webinar, our DETOX expert, or DETOXpert, provides actionable insights and effective industry practices to fast track your input chemical compliance with ZDHC MRSL 2.0!

 Key Learning Points:

  • MRSL and its relation with the ZDHC Program.
  • Actions brands and retailers can take to evaluate and plan for MRSL conformance of production process.
  • How facilities can prepare for MRSL compliance of chemical inventory.
  • Stepwise approach for chemical manufacturers to prepare for MRSL assessment and compliance.
